The Students’ Union of Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College is an elected body of student representatives to help the administration in organizing and conducting the activities of the college by providing them with a wide range of opportunities for sustainable growth and development. The union helps to identify, discover and channelize the innate potentials of the students and provides platform for exhibiting their talents and teaches the students to keep up the traditional, moral and spiritual values and imbibe them in their day-to-day life.
The Principal is the president of the Union. Four members of the faculty serve as Union Vice Presidents. The Students’ Union also consists of student representatives who serve in the capacity of Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Joint Secretary and Council coordinators and members. The union representatives are elected from both aided and self-financed sections thereby ensuring an equal representation.

- Social justice day pledge was taken on 18.09.2026
- A special awareness speech was delivered by Ms. M. Mumtaj of I B.Sc. Zoology on the occasion of World Ozone Day on 16.09.2026
- On 16.09.2026, a special speech was delivered by Ms. C. Rekha, II M. Sc. Physics, on the occasion of Bharathiyar Commemoration Day
- Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 03.09.2026 with an inspiring speech by Ms. R. Ragavi, III B.A. History Secretary, Students’ Union. Scholarships for deserving students and gifts for teachers were distributed
- As part of the Swachh Bharat Mission, a cleanliness awareness talk was given by Ms. Siva Swetha of I BCA on 02.09.2026
- On 25.08.2026 a special speech was given by K. Nithya Sree, III B.A.English, Vice Chair person, Student’s Union on the occasion of Onam
- Sadhbhavana Diwas day pledge was taken on 21.08.2026.
- Managing Trustee and Madam Coordinator Celebration Day was held on 20.08.2026. Dr. Senthilkumar Nallusamy, Chief Interventional Cardiologist, Rana Hospital, Trichy, was the Chief Guest
- Dr. S. Umamaheswari, Principal and Associate Professor of Vocal Music, Kalai Kaveri College of Fine Arts, Trichy, delivered the valedictory address on 19.08.2026. Department of Physics and Department of Biotechnology won the Rolling Shields for the year. Ms. M. Kavinmathi of III B.Sc. Botany won the MISS SRC title.
- Cultural Ascendia on the theme Uditi–2026 was inaugurated on 18.08.202. Ms. Bharathy Bhaskar, renowned Tamil orator, writer and pattimandram speaker was the chief guest. She delivered a special talk on “கல்விகரையில...”
- The 80th Independence Day was celebrated on 15.08.2026. Ms. P. Thamizhazhagi, Students’ Union Chairperson, hoisted the National Flag and delivered the Independence Day message
- The college organized “Dream, Decide, Achieve: Guidance to Higher Education” on 01.08.2026 for Savitri Vidyasala Hindu Girls’ Higher Secondary School students, providing guidance on higher education and career planning.
- On 24.07.2026 a special speech was given by Ms. H. Jayalakshmi, I M.A. Economics on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
- On the occasion of Kamarajar’s 123rd birthday a special talk was given by Ms. D. M. Swetha of II B.Sc.Computer Science on 15.07.2026.

- On 01.07.2026, a special speech was given by Ms.T. Akshayamathi of I M.Sc. Chemistry on the occasion of National Doctors’ day.
- Inauguration of the College Students’ Union and its Affiliated Associations of the college was held on 29.06.2026. Mr. S. Ashok Sundaresan, Chartered Accountant, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd. was the Chief Guest.
- The Inauguration Ceremony of Medha Saraswathi Hall was held on 24.06.2026 at 11.00 a.m., with Ms. Usharani Krishnan, Member Management, Padmabhushan Sri N. Ramaswami Ayyar Educational Complex, as the Chief Guest
- Freshers’ Day 2026 was held on 15.06.2026 at Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College to welcome the new batch of students, fostering unity and friendship under the theme “Together We Begin, Together We Achieve.”
