Resources
Laboratories- Microbiology Lab - The Microbiology lab is a place to grow and study tiny organisms, called microbes. Microbes can include bacteria and viruses. Microbiology labs need equipment to help properly to grow and culture these organisms
- Biochemistry Lab – The Biochemistry laboratory has become a prominent and essential fixture in the training of undergraduate students for careers related to the molecular life sciences ( Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry , Genetics , Immunology, Microbiology, Neurochemistry). The students acquire wide experience working with biomolecules in the laboratory and the prescribed course is the first step to that experience. This step provides the skills needed for future research participation at the undergraduate and the post graduate level and for jobs in the biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries
- Recombinant Lab - This term is ideally suited for an intensive laboratory course since students can spend successive full days in the lab. Students are involved in all aspects of laboratory, from making up all the solutions to setting up all the experiments. Students learn some basic techniques in the context of a research experience
- Plant Tissue Culture Lab – Tissue culture techniques are often used for commercial production of plants as well as for plant research
