B.Sc. programme was incepted in 1995. The special courses like Plant Biochemistry and Herbal medicine provide an awareness of traditional medicines, secondary metabolites, therapeutic potentials, sources of drugs, novel drug delivery system, processing methods and formulation of herbal drugs. These special courses are handled by experienced and well qualified faculty.
Goals
- To impart and update knowledge in the recent advances and techniques in Biochemistry
- To shape the students' future by motivating them towards the team spirit , encouraging them to come up with new ideas and concepts
- To create an aptitude for higher learning and research in various fields of Biochemistry
- To provide the students maximum opportunity to present and publish their research findings
