The library of Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College was incepted in 1951. It is treasure house of resources by disseminating knowledge and information. The library sprawls around an area of 6674 sq.ft. The Library is automated with a digital catalogue of books and documents. The collections in the library include books, national and international journals, standard newspapers and magazines and online e-resources, with a membership in INFLIBNET-NLIST, DELNET & NDLI. The library provides information services, reference services, bibliographic services and reprographic services, and is a power house of knowledge, quenching the academic thirst of users. The library is providing a user friendly environment.

Rules and Regulations
- All the students are members of the college Library
- The library will function from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm on all working days
- The library books will be issued by producing the library card bearing the name and register number of the student
- The loss of the library card must be immediately brought to the notice of the librarian and a requisition is to be made in writing for the issue of a duplicate card
- No student shall depute another to take books on her behalf
- The books will be issued to the students during afternoon and issued books should be returned in the forenoon
- The librarian may recall any book at any time, even if the allocated period has not expired
- Students are strictly warned against marking or underlining in the library books
- Compensation for the books damaged/missed must be paid according to the prevailing price (or) replace with new books
- If a book is not returned on the due date or when recalled, a fine should be remitted
- All the books must be returned to the library before one week at the end of each semester
- Periodicals should be referred in the library only
- One hour is provided for all the classes to utilise library
- All the personal belongings should be left at the entrance of the library
