The department of Physical Education, established in 1951, gives special coaching to the students in Volley ball, Kabaddi ,Basket ball, Hockey, Foot ball, Ball badminton, Table tennis, Shuttle, Kho-kho, Net ball, Hand ball, Athletics. Our college sports teams participate in All India Inter University tournaments& National level tournaments representing Bharathidasan University, and Tamil Nadu teams every year.

- On 06.02.2024 the department of Physical Education hosted the Bharathidasan University Intercollegiate Taekwondo Championship. Gold medals were secured by Ms. R. Samyuktha of III English, Ms. G. Vaishnavi Devi of III Commerce. Ms. S. Shalini of III Biotechnology, Ms. N. Dharshini, of II Tamil Ms. R.S. Dharani of II Chemistry secured Silver medals and Bronze medals were won by Ms. J.Tharika &, Ms. T.S.Anbarasi of II Economics, Ms. V.Ambujavalli of III Commerce Applied and who also won the trophy for Overall champion
- The Bharathidasan University Intercollegiate Netball Tournament was organized by the Department of Physical Education on 05.01.2024 & 06.01.2024 Our college team secured first place and won the Champion Trophy
- Ms. K.Meenakshi of III Commerce won first place in the Silambam National Open Championship held at Trichy. She has been performing Silambam nonstop for 3 hours. Her performance has been registered in Dubai Einsteen World Record & Panchappdha Book of World Record
- Ms. R.Bhuvaneshwari of III Commerce registered her 8-hour Silambam performance in the Indian book of World record
- Ms. Sanjana Vaidhyanathan of III Commerce (SF) won 2 gold medals and 3 silver medals in the Bharathidasan University Intercollegiate Swimming Competition and our college team secured Over all III Place

- From 27.12.2023 to 31.12.2023, the Interuniversity Volleyball Tournament was held at Tirupati in which Ms. S. Mahagauri of III Physics represented our University.
