The Road Safety Club at Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College plays a vital role in promoting awareness and education about road safety among students, staff, and the wider community. Every year, around 50 students enroll as members of this club. The club aims to promote accident-free roads in Tiruchirappalli. It conducts a range of activities and competitions, including painting contests, slogan writing competitions, and awareness lectures, to educate students and the public about road safety.
GOALS
- Promote a supportive and inclusive environment for students to come together and engage in social activities.
- Reduce the causes of accidents by educating and sensitizing road users and students about valued human lives.
- Encourage students to wear helmets and seat belts while driving.
