The Phytoclub of the Department of Botany is a student-driven initiative designed to foster a deep appreciation and understanding of plant science. It provides a platform for botany enthusiasts to engage in activities beyond the classroom, encouraging hands-on learning, research, and conservation efforts. The club aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, allowing students to explore various aspects of botany, such as plant physiology, taxonomy, ecology, biotechnology, and conservation.

GOALS
- To collect and diffuse information on all topics relating to botany and to promote an interest among the students.
- Through academic excellence, development of skills, and character formation, the department hopes to produce committed and inspired young women with a holistic approach to life.
COORDINATOR
- Dr. S. Thevasundari, Assistant Professor of Botany
