PC Ray Club is the domain club of PG and Research Department of Chemistry. The club provides opportunities for students to develop leadership abilities, foster creativity and enhance interpersonal skills. It opens avenues for students to participate in various fests, seminars and workshops, allowing them to showcase their talents, gain knowledge and expertise in their field.

Rama, Associate Professor, PG & Research Department of Chemistry, Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College, Tiruchirappalli. The session emphasized innovative teaching methods that use physical activities and interactive learning to improve students’ understanding of chemistry concepts
4 19.08.2025 Chem-Aura’25, an intercollegiate competition, was organized with the participation of regional level students from various colleges. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and skills in chemistry through various competitive activities such as Chem poster, Chem Connection, Chem Charades, Chem Rangoli and Chem Quiz

Amala, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College, conducted a hands-on session titled “Spectroscopic Techniques for Advanced Scientific Research: Hands-On Exploration of UV Spectrophotometer.” The session provided students with practical training in operating a UV spectrophotometer and understanding its applications in qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis

11 16.09.2025 -21.09.2025 PG and Research Department of Chemistry organized a Poster Making Competition for World Ozone Day, conducted as an Intercollegiate Online Competition. The event encouraged students to express their creativity and raise awareness about ozone layer protection and environmental sustainability
12 18.09.2025 A quiz competition on “Founder’s Vision to Zenith” was conducted for the students of the Department of Chemistry, providing them an opportunity to enhance their knowledge about the founder’s vision and the growth of the institution

Bharathi, Associate Professor of Chemistry, Sri Sarada College for Women, Salem, delivered a lecture on “Concepts and Problems in Coordination Chemistry (Pertaining to CSIR Examination).” The session focused on clarifying fundamental concepts, problem-solving techniques, and important topics in coordination chemistry relevant for competitive examinations like CSIR-NET
