The CONSUMER Club of Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College was established in 2025 with the aim of promoting awareness of consumer rights, responsibilities, and ethical practices. It encourages students to actively participate in discussions and activities that enhance their understanding of the consumer environment in modern society. The club helps students understand the practical aspects of consumption, market systems, and decision-making in daily life, while also introducing basic legal awareness through the Consumer Protection Act.

Goals
- To create awareness about consumer rights and responsibilities among students
- To promote ethical and informed purchasing decisions and sustainable consumption
- To develop awareness about unfair trade practices, misleading advertisements, and digital consumer safety
- To guide students in seeking redressal through bodies such as the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
